San Diego LEND
Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities
San Diego LEND is the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) training program in San Diego, CA. The program is funded by a grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
Our Purpose
The purpose of the San Diego LEND program is to provide interdisciplinary and leadership training to graduate and post graduate trainees, practicing professionals, family members, and self-advocates focused on promoting equity in access to evidence-based services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disorders (ASD/DD).
Our Trainees
It brings together faculty and trainees from public universities (UC San Diego, San Diego State University), a pediatric healthcare system (Rady Children's Hospital - San Diego), and government and community-based agencies from the San Diego and Imperial County communities.
