Bio
Antara Kobayashi is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. Antara holds an undergraduate degree in Women's Studies and Human Communication. She is a CBB Alumni from the class of 2002. She received her Master's of Science in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at San Diego State University in 2004. She has been an independent licensed therapist since 2009, and has been teaching in Community Based Block since 2020. Prior to her work in CBB she was a crisis counselor in forsensic work for sexual assault trauma and was an educator for first responders. Her client and community work has been focused on Youth/Teen Outpatient and Mental Health, violence against women, partner relational violence, child abuse and Intensive Outpatient Community Mental Health, military clients and partner relational work.
