Classroom Pivotal Response Teaching
CPRT

CPRT is classroom-based adaptation of Pivotal Response Training, an evidence-based practice for autistic students that falls under the category of Naturalistic Interventions. The current study is Funded by the Federal Department of Education (R324A200134) and has 3 primary aims:
- Create an interactive web-based tool to help teachers determine which CPRT components should be prioritized for individual students or instructional settings.
- Create a virtual training module to allow hands-on application of CPRT concepts while supporting large-scale training tailored to teachers and paraprofessionals.
- Compare outcomes between virtual training and coaching and in-person training and in-vivo coaching (pilot study).
We are currently in our 2nd training year and will begin conducting data analysis in June 2025.
